Casa Mais Douro comprise an elegant Guest-House Facility, located in one of the most charming and attractive areas in the historic quarter of Vila Nova de Gaia—situated on the escarpment of the Douro riverbank, an integral part of the landscape classified by UNESCO as a “World Heritage Site.” A spectacular balcony overlooking the Douro River with a stunning view of the riverfront areas of both Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. This location brings together history, tradition, unique architectural features carved over the centuries and profoundly marked by the history of Port Wine, such as the cellars surrounding the Casa Mais Douro (house). This project involved the recovery of small typical Portuguese house dating back to the early 20th century, to 1908. The Casa Mais Douro re-emerge, time and again, with the same façade, which insists on giving back to the city the memories it does not want to forget. Come and enjoy Casa Mais Douro, at Calçada da Serra, along the Port Wine cellar route, crossing the riverfront areas of Porto and Gaia, always with a view of the houses, bridges and Rabelo boats, while discovering the city in a journey through time.
